It seems these days that individuality is at the fore and people are fed up of seeing the same old mass produced homeware.
Individuality and style go hand in hand, so creating something which is uniquely you is appealing and interesting.
Watching something as personal as your house sign being created especially for you is particularly satisfying and rewarding.
No two
signs that we produce are the same and it also gives us great pleasure seeing the finished product come together.
Firstly we create artwork for approval and once that is agreed by our customers we then begin making your very own bespoke pattern.
Once the pattern has been produced we then make a mould from it ready to create a solid metal casting, poured from the molten metal of your choice. Aluminium plaques are powder coated and then hand painted on the raised lettering and decoration.
They can also be polished back to reveal the aluminium below which is then sealed again with a powder coater lacquer.
Our solid
brass and bronze plaques are treated with a chemical patternation process to darken and age the background before being hand polished and finally waxed to offer a degree of protection, as the patternation process continues to darken and age the metal.
The plaques are hand painted in tough enamel sign paint by talented painters who carefully paint the raised cast areas or can paint designs free hand to the plaque face where the sign can become a work of art.
It is also possible to have individual motifs made into the main pattern where they are finally carefully hand painted to create unique raised designs on the
house sign.
